About

Zababdeh is a Palestinian town in the Northern West Bank located 15 km southeast of Jenin; it is a rural village, thus many of its residents are farmers.

Along with villages like Taybeh and Beit Sahour, Zababdeh is one of the few majority Christian population centers in all of Palestine and Israel. The 66% Christian population attends one of the village’s four churches:

Roman Catholic Church of Visitation, St. George’s Greek Orthodox Church, St. Matthew’s Anglican Church and St. George’s Greek Catholic Church. The rest of the population of Zababdeh is primarily Sunni Muslim. There is one small mosque in Zababdeh.
